How to dictate your lesson notes (Windows)
- Turn on Voice Access (Windows 11)
- Press Windows + Ctrl + S
- Or go to:
- Settings → Accessibility → Speech → Voice Access
- Turn it on and run the setup
- Pin to taskbar for easy future access
- Click inside the transcript box below so it is active
- Speak naturally about the lesson — what was worked on, technique points, homework tasks
- Edit the text if needed, then click Finish
You can also type your notes directly, or paste from another source.
🔒 To prevent your screen locking during a lesson, install Move Mouse from the Microsoft Store.

⚠ Important: Only use Chrome or Edge for dictation — Safari will not work reliably.
- Tap the mic button below to start recording directly in the browser
- Speak naturally — repertoire, technique, homework tasks
- Tap Use this transcript when done
- Edit the text if needed, then tap Finish
You can also type or paste notes directly into the transcript box.
